Portable grand piano
I have been looking for a compact flash for Julie’s portable piano. Yes, it is for her portable piano. I think last week, while she was recording the song she played she got mad because she ran out a space. Not my fault since I kept telling her to upload all the music she recorded already while I was still looking for compact flash that is compatible on her portable piano. Thankfully the search is over, I found one and this is going to her Christmas stockings.

Top Thrill Dragster
Julie finally rode the Top Thrill Dragster. She said she was scared at first but after 10 mins she was fine. She even went 3 times.
Pics was taken during her dance party at school. She'll be 9th grade this coming school-year. ***sigh. Time flies...

Student of the month?
Yes- it's question mark! hehehe. When she called me at work telling me that she's student of the month instead of congratulate her I burst out laughing. I just cannot believe because I know how she is in the classroom, teachers complain how talkative she is even moved her other chair so she can't disturb other kids. Oh yeah- cell phone even got taken away from her. Though she talks a lot she does pay attention. And for her being a student of the month I think because in her 3rd quarter she got 3.8 GPA.
Anyway, love you babe, congrats and keep up the great work!

She did great and I am so proud of her of course her dad too! While watching her performance I was so nervous in some reason. I guess too excited!

The United States Achievement Academy
Just being proud, I have to post this in this blog too...wink*
We received a letter from The United States Achievement Academy to claim Julie’s honor. Thanks to Mr. Parrish (her teacher) who nominated her for 2008 United States Achievement Academy National Yearbook, we are so proud of her. We will surely treasure this honor.
Tomorrow I will definitely mail the official registration and order the National Yearbook which has Julie’s personalized biography page and picture as the leading page. Also an 8.5” X 11” Commemorative Certificate signed by the Academy President so we can frame it. For $60 you can’t beat that, what an honor.
She really make us so happy this week, with this letter we got plus her 3rd quarter report card she has 3.857 GPA. 1 B+ (3.3) not really happy with B+ but because of the letter she's forgiven. To be honest she really don't study, she does when she have to. How I wish she study, no doubt in my heart she will get 4.0 GPA.

It's been awhile haven't posted here, I was just so busy with other stuff especially at work. 2 hot jobs already finished, hopefully Monday I can relax.

Finally - new guitar!
Julie finally have her own guitar. We bought it over the weekend though kind of hurt in our pocket but we want her to continue practice playing the guitar and be good at it. Who knows one day she'll be hmmmm blank blank blank. hehehe... just a wishful thingking. wink*
Here's the first video recorded with her new guitar. not complete, mistakes are made. Well- she's new and still learning.
