Student of the month?
Yes- it's question mark! hehehe. When she called me at work telling me that she's student of the month instead of congratulate her I burst out laughing. I just cannot believe because I know how she is in the classroom, teachers complain how talkative she is even moved her other chair so she can't disturb other kids. Oh yeah- cell phone even got taken away from her. Though she talks a lot she does pay attention. And for her being a student of the month I think because in her 3rd quarter she got 3.8 GPA.
Anyway, love you babe, congrats and keep up the great work!

Julie
Tuesday: her last day sa softball game. I made sure I didn't missed it. It was a good game, it wasn't boring at all. She got a chance to play again and did a good hits. After the game the coach gave a speech to all the players how great they were playing during the season. And the coach mention Julie's name how she made great hits during the season though she only a bench player. (other words "left over player" ) hahaha.
Wednesday: honors night. we were almost late cause i was late coming home from work got stuck from the traffic plus it was raining hard! Anyways, we are so proud of her. Thanks baby pie for all your hard work. I guess I got no choice to put the sticker back on my van cause i promised her last year if she's an honor again this year I will put this STICKER.

>>>Ok- the clothes i wore that night i have couple comments. couple moms said " oh you look soo cute " honestly i was so embarrassed by their comments cause people over heard them they were looking at me and gave me a smile. Hindi ko talaga nagustohan sana sinabi na lang nila na i like your outfit or you look nice. "cute" words i think it's for kids compliments, don't you think? I'm almost 40 come on! Please don't think this in a wrong way, i'm just not happy about it.
Thursday: woke Julie up for school but she said her tummy hurts and want to stay home. i asked her 1st if theres a home work or project didn't get done & just pretending tummy hurts so she can stay home. She did insist but if i send her to school and it gets worst i wont be able to pick her up right away since my work is far away.
Friday: got a call from her teacher she didn't submit her project, hmmm it makes me wonder if she was pretending? such a stinker!.Well, she's grounded the rest of the school year w/c is 2 weeks. no cell phone, no internet, no shopping, no friends over or go to friends house and no sleep over. she's not happy at all! i am hoping she wont get a C on her 4th quarter report card. If she does i don't know what to do with her.
Before I forget, for you miss Raquel ...

Me & Julie
...got a new look.
Friday, Julie decided to have a haircut, I ignored her cause I didn't want her to cut her hair but she really insists to have it cut, she even cried. So, I took her yesterday at Ulta without an appointment, luckily there's one hairdresser available. While watching the hairdresser cutting Julie's hair I thought that she knows what she's doing (hehehe) so, i decided to have mine cut too. Here's some pics:

Rewind!
rewind for what? hehehe ... here I am sick again! Just got over with my bronchitis and another nasty cough! grrrr... over a week na kasi ito eh.
Last week, Julie's band concert wasn't so bad, same 'ol can't hardly see her. Luckily all the kids had their short solos they stand up and I made sure I got it in video. (will be uploaded when I get a chance). They played "All That Jazz". As usual after the concert we went out for dinner, we went to an italian restaurant very nice and quiet place, food sooo good. We didn't get a chance to have a dessert because we start coughing & it was so embarrassing. We hurried up and left.
Then over the weekend i was busy doing some house work. Well, didn't really do much got tired of coughing and indeed watching all kind of TV shows from sports to stupid reality shows in MTV. hahaha. Billiard was fun then PBA. I remembered Julie's bowling, 2004 she start playing bowling for the 1st time and got the first place. 2005 she did it again and she also join the little tournament w/c she got the first place and 125.00 dollars scholarship. I wanted her to continue to bowl but she got bored and quit! From ice skating to swimming to whatever :-) the longest she's in is the school band. She said she will continue softball until high school, we'll see.

Jewelry Party
Saturday, May & I were hosted the Silpada Jewelry, Martine Kraft is our Independent Representative. And she's a friend of mine since 1999, we work together before. It was fun, we didn't invite that much people/friends though, but we did had orders almost $600.00. We are closing the show on Tuesday.

Still sick
Hello everyone, how was you guys weekend? Hope everyone had a bliss one.
Here I am still sick, it's my 4th week now. I went to my doctor Saturday waahhhh, I got bronchitis. I don't know why I waited so long to see a doctor. Hard headed kasi eh. Parang nagka tv na ata ako nito sa kaka ubo. Ok lang kasi 70 inch plasma naman. hehehe. I know it's not funny, kasi ito inu-ubo while typing. :-( .
Friday - went shopping with the ladies, it was fun! After shopping we had dinner at Miyako Japanese restaurant. While we were waiting to be seated I wanted to take a picture of the 3 girls but my surprised the camera wasn't in my purse!. Hmmm think think, oh my I left it in the store, luckily i remembered w/c store. I went back to the store running cause i only have 10 mins before the store close. Thank God the ladies in the store kept the camera in a safe place they know I'll come back for it. hehehe.
Saturday - finally see a doctor for my cough. While looking for my key I called Tom at work to let him know that we are leaving for my doctor appointment. He told me we can't leave, he disconnect the battery cause the fan will not shut off. (Friday i took his truck cause my van had a fan problem) I told him I can't canceled my appointment, I asked him if he can tell me how to reconnect the battery, he was hesitant but I told him I know I can do it :-). Yep I did it!

My Week and PIX to share.
How to start?...
First of all I would like to thank you once again to all your prayers for my MIL. The surgery went very well and hopefully she'll be home soon.
Monday:
...was busy packing at work. Took some pics sa area ko for the last time.
Wednesday:
...Julie's catechism, I switched her to 6:30 class cause I know I wont be able to make it to drop her off for 4:30 class. Sa 4:30 class nya after dropping her off punta ako kina May para mag palipas ng oras at nakikain na lang din ng dinner. hehehe...kapal ano? Now that she's in 6:30 hindi na ako pumupunta kna May kasi may school siya at 6 so, ginagawa ko I do my errands or just wait for her in the parking lot for an hour & 15 mins. While waiting for her nag na nap naman ako so ok na rin diba?
Friday:
Nadean invited us to go with her to join with JJ & Lynne for CATATONIC ICE SKATING at Campus Martius Park in Downtown Detroit. Though I didn't skate but I had a great time! Julie and Nadean surely had a blasts!

After the morning show we went home and stopped by at kerbys had a breakfast. Around 12:30 Julie & I went to parents teacher conference. It was an easy ones since she had almost all A's. Her teacher in Geography ang dami kung tanong kasi first time in her 1st quarter nagka B+ siya. I asked the teacher why? he looked all her assigments and quizzes all looked good and said she's doing great and i said why she got B+? He said in my class I want to see more DETAILS specially working on maps, 7th grade kinda toughed and she needs to pay more attention working on her details. Sabi ko OK...then sabi niya I take na hindi daw ako happy sa B+...of course not...I said I'm happy and proud and I know she's capable of an A. Umuwi na lang kami kasi our conversations not going nowhere kasi dami kung tanong sagot niya she's doing great but just need to pay more attention on details.
While I'm in the parking lot I just can't helped it na not to take a picture on these 2 minivans...hehehe...While driving Julie told na i need a car wash...sabi ko I know. I take dirt road kasi the other road na paved still closed. Been rainy passed week so ayon nga since i've been taking dirt road yan ang mukha ng van ko. So I just can't helped na not to take the pics the other van na since I feel good kasi it's worst than mine. hehehe.
Ok- sorry my post way to long busy kasi eh. And again I'm sorry hindi man ako naka bloghopped sa inyong lahat. Bawi lang ako ha? Once again maraming SALAMAT sa walang sawa sa pagbisita nyo, very much appreciated.
